The Indian film industry produces hundreds of films annually, but only a tiny percentage of those films reach Western audiences. If you’re trying to learn Hindi 9kmovies or Punjabi, you might have to give up watching some great Bollywood movies, Punjabi dramas, and even English comedies.
Bollywood is a hugely popular Indian cultural export, seen by millions of people every year in India, the United States, and beyond. Bollywood is known for its many musicals characterized by its vivid production values, over-the-top performances, and ongoing quests for epic stories.
If learning Hindi or Punjabi is on your mind, keep reading; watching films in any language is a great way to improve your linguistic abilities.
These five new Indian films from the previous year are well worth your time if you’re looking for something serious or humorous to watch on an airplane or want to learn more about India outside Bollywood.
Thug Life
There’s reason to be optimistic about Thug Life, the upcoming American remake of the blockbuster Bollywood film. After watching this movie, your opinion of the neighborhood thug will change forever. The fact that some of these films are inspired by actual events may surprise you.
To better others’ lives and make a profit, the protagonist of Vicky Donor makes the selfless decision to donate his sperm. Oye Lucky! is a comedy directed by Irrfan Khan, and he also stars in the upcoming thriller Gandeev. The protagonist of the Indian film Lucky Oye! is Sikander, a low-level gambler who travels across the country on the strength of nothing but his luck.
The sequel to Dabangg, in which Salman Khan reprises his role as Chulbul Pandey, has been released. If you enjoyed the first film, which was a huge success, you would want to take advantage of this one.
Kambakkht Ishq
If you’re looking for a modern comedy, Kambakkht Ishq is your best bet. In this film, Sunny Deol and Govinda play the protagonist and antagonist, respectively, of a married couple that has grown apart. They have to decide whether to keep dating or break up. Though there are some crude jokes in the film, both kids and adults will enjoy it. It was released to positive reviews in 2008, and it has proven to be popular.
Not the movie to watch if you’re in the mood for some profound emotion. It also features cameos from some of Bollywood’s biggest stars of yesteryear. You may still enjoy the film because of the charm added by the two comedians, even if you aren’t a massive fan of either of them individually. On top of that, you can see Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in their prime youth and beauty.
Vada Pav
There’s a new Indian movie called Vada Pav, and it’s already a cult classic there. Indian street vendors commonly stock their carts with vada pavs, fast food. This tasty treat consists of two slices of bread sandwiched with deep-fried potato patties. Typical condiments include onions, chutney, tamarind, and green sauces.
Without trying to hide the truth, we acknowledge that this may not interest everyone. But if you want something truly unique (and perhaps even exotic), this is it! The good news is… To get one, a trip around the world is perfectly acceptable. Some local restaurants may now offer Vada Pav. Make haste, or you’ll miss out on a chance to buy one.
Raajneeti
The film’s protagonist, Jayadev, is a politician whose family life has been thrown into disarray by his father’s extramarital affairs. His mother has been so naive that she has allowed her husband to keep seeing his mistress. True, Jayadev is not without his flaws. After developing feelings for a famous actress, he finds himself at odds with his mother’s powerful political ally.
Sooner or later, the three of them get themselves into a mess. If you had to guess, what do you think would happen? The Allmovieshub has it streaming right now. Life! We know how thrilling it is to wait for a new release, and we want you to feel the same way. Rock On 2
The film chronicles the reunion of a band that had been split up for twenty years. Many well-known actors, such as Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli, and others, are featured in the cast. The film, with music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, is scheduled for release on November 15, 2016.
It was directed by Shujaat Saudagar and will be released in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
The Pakistani actors Fahad Mustafa and Mawra Hocane also feature prominently. A band member, played by Mahira Khan, develops feelings for the lead singer, played by Farhan Akthar. We have high hopes for this movie because of the success of Rock On! (2008), and we expect it to live up to those standards.
