The Way to ITIL Certification
In July 2013, Axelos took over the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). It is now in charge of maintaining the ITIL framework and accrediting training and testing centers. The acronym ITIL ATO stands for “Accredited Training Organization,” and many of them exist. These organizations help train professionals to work with ITIL solutions.
After completing the training course, these ATOs will award ITIL Certification to candidates who meet the requirements. These certifications can also be managed by an EI, which stands for Examination Institute. The majority of EIs collaborate directly with ATOs to manage certificates.

You get a certain number of credits for each level of certification that you achieve, and these credits add up over time. The Road to ITIL 4 Certification
The ITIL 4 certification process is very similar to the ITIL V3 certification methodology that came before it.
Despite this, it has been simplified to the point that it now splits into two different certification routes and provides seven other modules for both certificates combined. You will start your training at the Foundation level and then move on to either the Strategic Leader (SL) or the Managing Professional (MP) certification paths.
Candidates can either move on to the next level or finish both paths that have already been mentioned. If you fall into the second category, you can apply for the ITIL Master certification.
The Foundation Stage of ITIL
The ITIL Foundation-level module is the first hurdle you need to clear to earn any certification, but it doesn’t matter which one you’re going for. This is the first test in the certification process for ITIL 4, covering the most fundamental ideas and ideas in the ITIL 4 framework.
This module is meant to teach new candidates the basics of ITIL 4, and it is also intended to test advanced certification holders’ knowledge of the tech framework’s core ideas as they move up their certification paths. It is necessary to attend a classroom training session that lasts 2.5 days to complete the Foundation course for ITIL. After you have finished this course, you will be required to pass a multiple-choice. So test comprising forty questions by getting at least 26 of the questions correct.
